Upload an already-signed contract PDF

Learn how to upload an already-signed contract PDF to a client in MyOnlineSeller so it lives in the same vault as the rest of your agreements.

Overview

If you’ve already executed a contract outside the platform (DocuSign, wet signature, etc.), you can attach the signed PDF to a client so it lives in the same vault as the rest of your agreements.

When to use this

Use uploaded contracts when:

  • You signed the contract before onboarding the client onto MyOnlineSeller.
  • You’re using a third-party e-signature tool you don’t want to migrate away from.
  • You have a paper original that you’ve scanned to PDF.

For anything new, prefer the in-app e-signature flow — it’s faster, audited, and the client gets a copy automatically.

How to upload an already-signed contract PDF

  1. Open the client from Clients → Contracts tab.
  2. Click Upload signed contract.
  3. Give the contract a title (for example, Master Services Agreement — 2026).
  4. Drag in the PDF or click to browse. Max file size is 10 MB.
  5. (Optional) Set an effective date if it’s different from today.
  6. Click Save.

After saving, the contract is stored with status Uploaded and is visible to the client immediately under Account → Contracts.
