Understanding the warehouse vs. client portal: which one am I in?
MyOnlineSeller has two portals: the warehouse portal (for the 3PL operating the account) and the client portal (for sellers using the warehouse). Your role determines which one you see.
MyOnlineSeller has two portals: the warehouse portal for 3PL operators, and the client portal for the brands and sellers using that warehouse. You'll be in one or the other based on the email used to invite you.
You can tell which portal you're in by the URL and the sidebar color: warehouse uses /admin/* with a teal sidebar; client uses /client/* (or root paths) with a purple sidebar.
What the warehouse portal does
- Manage all clients, their inventory, and their orders from one dashboard.
- Configure billing rates, send invoices, and collect payments.
- Run receiving, picking, and shipping workflows for every client.
- Set up integrations on behalf of clients and monitor sync errors.
What the client portal does
- View your inventory, orders, and shipments in real time.
- Connect your own e-commerce stores (Shopify, Amazon, etc.).
- Send inbound shipments and report order issues.
- View invoices, pay bills, and manage your team.
Quickest way to check
Look at your browser URL. If it starts with /admin, you're in the warehouse portal. If it starts with /client (or just /orders, /inventory, etc.), you're in the client portal.
