How do I set low-stock alerts?

Set a global default in Settings or a custom threshold per product. You'll get email and Slack alerts when stock drops below it.

Low-stock alerts notify you by email and Slack before you run out of a product, so you can reorder or send more inventory in time.

Set a default for all products

In Settings, set a global low-stock threshold that applies to every product in your catalog. Most clients start with a number that covers about two weeks of typical sales.

Override the threshold for one product

To set a custom threshold for a specific product, open the product in Inventory and edit its Low Stock Threshold. The custom value overrides the global default.

How alerts are sent

When on-hand quantity drops below the threshold, you'll get a single email alert and, if connected, a Slack notification. You won't be alerted again for the same product until stock is replenished and drops below the threshold again.
