What's the difference between On Hand, Reserved, and Available?
On Hand is total physical stock, Reserved is committed to open orders, and Available is what's left to sell.
Your inventory is shown in three columns so you always know what's physically in the warehouse versus what's free to sell.
On Hand
On Hand is the total physical quantity in the warehouse right now, including stock that's already committed to open orders.
Reserved
Reserved is the quantity committed to orders that haven't shipped yet. As soon as an order is created, its items are reserved so you don't oversell.
Available
Available is On Hand minus Reserved. This is the number of units actually free to sell. When Available drops below your low-stock threshold, you'll get an alert.
