How does a customer start a return?
Understand how returns are initiated and who is responsible for the shipping label.
The platform does not generate return shipping labels for end customers automatically. You or your storefront are responsible for providing return instructions and a label.
Typical flow
- The customer contacts you (the seller) to request a return.
- You issue a return shipping label using your carrier or storefront tools.
- You log the expected return in the Returns dashboard so the warehouse can match it on arrival.
- When the package arrives, the warehouse processes it and updates the disposition.
